Course Info - Convergence

Convergence

Sessions where students across different streams come together for worship, teaching, ministry, and character-building on the first Monday of every month of the semester. Topics include:

• The Power of Worship

• Servanthood

• Relationship vs Opportunity

• Hosting His Presence

• Culture of Honour

• Excellence vs Perfectionism

• Stewardship

• Thinking Generationally

Course Info - Classes

Classes

For the remaining weeks of the month, stream classes are then held once a week typically on Monday or Tuesday nights. Class durations range from 1.5 – 2.5 hours depending on the chosen stream. Class schedules will be confirmed upon acceptance into the course.

Electives

(subject to change year on year)

Over the course of the semester on selected Wednesday nights, students have the opportunity to participate in electives, which are optional, to expand their learning breadth. These cover topics that are essential for worship ministries, such as:

• Worship Leading

• Harmony

• Sound Basics

• Band Dynamics

• Leadership

• Worship with Strings

• Prophetic Worship

• Soundscaping with Keys

• Intro to Music Directing

One To One Mentoring

Receive personalised one-to-one mentoring in the area of skill and ministry from our team of full-time mentors. We believe in investing in relationships and our goal is to see you awaken to the greater purpose of your gifts and to step into your calling.

Course Info - Revival Nights

Revival Nights

Besides convergences, classes, one-to-one mentoring, and electives, Awaken Generation also hosts monthly Revival Nights that take place on the last Wednesday of each month where students get an opportunity to serve on the worship team or simply soak and receive in a worship environment.

Fees

The AG programme runs for 8 months (2 semesters) in total. Each month, AG students will receive skill-based training in their weekly classes, enjoying up to 13 hours of training in the following areas: 

  • Spiritual development in Convergences 

  •  skill-based training in their weekly classes

  • Ministry training in electives

  • One-to-one Mentoring 

That's 52 hours of intentional training per semester!

Terms & Conditions

*The academic year is made out of 8 months in total.

*Revised fees are only for 2024.

*Prices only applicable for annual payment paid upfront. For semester or monthly payment, there will be a 3%/semester or 5%/month admin surcharge respectively.

*All prices quoted above are nett.

*Payment will only need to be made upon acceptance into the programme.

*A non-refundable $80 admin fee is required upon first payment.

* A Graduation fee of $50 will be payable at the start of Semester 2. 

*For late applications, an additional $80 will also be billed to students.

 

Financial Support

Many of our students have testified of God’s abundant provision as they have stepped out in faith to be a part of AG as the Lord calls. We pray this information on raising financial support will build your faith as to how God can provide for all your needs as you set your heart and mind to grow as a worshipper.

 

Financial Assistance

However, students who face financial difficulties in meeting the required fees for the AG school programme may consider applying for financial assistance. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

 

For our Singapore-based applicants 

·  Monthly per capita household income (PCI)* is not more than $1,500

·  Provide proof and documentation of your financial need, including a write-up of your financial situation

·  Students receiving government subsidies or grants for their courses may be considered as well

 

*Monthly household per capita income refers to the total gross monthly incomes of all those living in the household divided by the number of people in the household.

To apply, 

  • Complete and submit the ‘Financial Assistance’ form with your main Application Form. 

  • Applications must be made before 20th Jan 2024

 

Successful applicants may be called in for a face-to-face (or video call) interview upon the discretion of the reviewing panel.
