Songwriting Mentor
There was a time when sitting down to write a song felt terrifying for me. I’d hear the whispers of what if i’m not good enough? Maybe you’ve felt that too. But over the years, the Lord has been teaching me that songwriting isn’t about proving something. It’s about partnering with Him to express His heart through ours.
That’s what our Awaken Generation Global Songwriting Stream is all about. We’ll journey together to let go of fear, and embrace our call as a songwriter. In this space, you’ll learn to honour your voice as a songwriter after God’s heart. You’ll discover what it means to write from intimacy, and find freedom in the process.
God has placed a sound inside of you that no one else can release. My prayer is that through growing in community & being intentionally mentored in the craft of songwriting, you’ll grow in courage to write songs that reveal God in your local context.
