Electric Guitar
Shape a sound that serves worship.
Course overview
Students will be immersed in an enriching practical curriculum and be strengthened in foundational technique and theory. They will be equipped with the tools to add colour and vibrancy to their electric guitar playing to enhance the worship band experience for all. Students can expect to grow not only in their musicianship, but also in their role as a worship leader with their instrument. As one of the instrument streams at Awaken Generation, students will be given the opportunity to collaborate with other streams during practical combined sessions such as band dynamics and arrangement.

- Ambient Guitar Soundscapes
- Navigating Free Worship
- Student-led Worship Night
Course topics are subject to change at the trainer’s discretion.
Entry requirements
- Ability to play basic chords and rhythms with decent timekeeping.
- Own or have regular access to the instrument you are applying for.
Audition requirements
Submit one video performing one fast song AND one slow song from the following lists.
