Course overview

The Dance Course at Awaken Generation is dedicated to cultivating a generation of worship dancers by establishing strong Biblical foundations through discipleship and mentorship. Our goal is to equip and empower dancers for the ministry of worship leading. This course aims to deepen and challenge your understanding of worship dance, activate your spirit, soul, body and expand your creative capacity through movement and knowledge.

  • Year End Dance Ministry Encounter (Recital)

Course topics are subject to change at the trainer’s discretion.

Entry requirements

  • Applicants should be 18 years and above.
  • No professional training is required. It is recommended that you love movement, can move comfortably and are willing to attend dance classes for growth.

Audition requirements

Submit only one video containing both parts:

  • A 1–2 minute sharing on why you want to join the Dance stream and what you are expectant of.
  • A 2 minute dance / worship dance: create and minister choreography for the first verse and chorus of “Come and Tear Down the Walls” by REVERE.

Dance tools such as flags, cloth and streamers are not allowed. Your video should reflect your movement / dance abilities.

Ensure your video is accessible through a shared link with viewing permissions enabled.

Selected candidates will be invited to an onsite Dance Session in early December (early bird applicants) or early February (regular applicants) before final acceptance. These timings relate to the 2027 application cycle.
