Missions is not the ultimate goal of the Church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn’t. Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man. When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But worship abides forever.

In an age where the altars of worship in the hearts of man have grown cold, our mission is to restore the burning flame of worship in Spirit and Truth to every tribe and tongue. God is not simply looking for converts, but for passionate worshippers discipled into living fully for the Great Commission, His Glory, and purpose. Link arms with us in fulfilling this mission.
AG has helped expand my view of worship into a much larger, macro view whereby our worship and songs will spread to the ends of the earth. During a class on worshipping in the nations, He released a vision to me of the different parts of Singapore being awakened through worship music. It was then that He also placed a burden in my heart to labour with Him in producing a mature and worshipping church. In that moment, I felt the activation of my role as a worship leader to step up and lead. It was only through obedience and the giving of my “yes” that allowed me to receive His power in my brokenness and fully step into my anointing.

My wife and I went through a difficult time when we had a miscarriage. We had been praying for a long time for God to bless us with a child, only for the dream to be short-lived. However, the AG team and my fellow drummers rallied alongside and prayed with us, never ceasing to spur us on, and during one of our class presentations, we played the song ‘Promises Never Fail’. It was no coincidence during the season of mourning and healing, and I felt led to share about how this song ministered to me – how God knows our thoughts, how His plans for us are good, how darkness has no power over us, and how His promises truly never fail.

When I first attended Awaken Generation’s Revival Night in early 2018, I was captivated by the outpouring of hearts and felt His tangible presence moving so strongly in the room. After many initial struggles with fear and self-confidence, I have had the privilege of being a student not just in 2019 but 2020 as well. Throughout this journey, AG has played a big role in my spiritual growth. I had struggled with a deep-seated fear for 3 years and it was here that I experienced my long-awaited breakthrough - a new view in both my head and heart of who God truly is.
